How much does dog training cost

It depends on where you train and what type of dog training service you choose to use. The average cost of dog training can range from $350 to $1,000 per dog. Dog training services that use positive reinforcement techniques tend to be less expensive than those that use punishment-based training techniques.Dog training services that use positive reinforcement techniques typically involve the following:1. Using positive reinforcements such as food treats and play sessions with toys.2. Teaching your dog appropriate behaviors with rewards, such as sitting, walking on a leash, and coming when called.3. Teaching your dog not to bark or chew inappropriate items such as furniture or shoes.

Is paying for dog training worth it?

Yes, definitely worth it. You will be amazed at the results. Our dog, Phoebe was aggressive with every one in our house strangers included. We couldn’t get her to sit or lie down, or come when called. We took her to an obedience trainer who showed us how to spay her. She threatened us and our kids. We took her back to the obedience trainer and she taught us how to calm dogs down and teach them not to bite. It’s so worth it to train your dog! We haven’t had any problems with canine aggression since then. But I do recommend doing lots of training with your dog even if you don’t think they’re aggressive now. It will only make the problem worse if they don’t understand what they’re supposed to be doing next time you encounter that person or another animal in the future (or whatever scenario happens!).I also recommend getting a retraining book for reactive dogs like Phoebe’s, as well as a book about clicker training and a tool such as a spray bottle for alternate applications of punishment such as pheromone inhibition spray (if your dog doesn’t care about safety). I can tell you that we have never had issues with pathos since transitioning her over from collar training only three weeks ago! She is so obedient now!
