Pour boiling lukewarm water over them and leave them in the yard until they are soaked up.You can also use borax and lemon juice in a spray bottle to get rid of the smell. You can also use a litmus test to find out exactly where your dog has urinated. Put a couple of drops on a paper towel and let it sit out overnight. The paper towel should turn yellow if there are traces of dog urine on it. Change the paper towel as needed until you find the pee spot. Pull up those roots!
