Benji is a labrador-beagle mix, which is very intelligent and playful. They are also very active dogs that need a lot of exercise. They can be quite stubborn and may not listen to commands if they feel they are being ignored. They do well with families with older children and would do well in a home with no small animals or little children due to their high energy level. Due to their intellect, they can be a bit challenging to train, but they can learn new commands fairly quickly if you’re patient and consistent. They are also good with other dogs but may not always play nice with them. They do well in the heat and do not need much water due to their high thirst drive. They shed moderately and drool more than most dogs. It’s important to keep their teeth clean due to the risk of dental disease. They will also bark at anything unusual; this can be a deterrent for some people. Overall, Benji is a sweet, intelligent dog that would make a wonderful addition to any family!
Is the dog Benji still alive?
Yes, he is still alive. On May 11 2015, Benji became the world’s oldest dog when he celebrated his 18th birthday.Benji was born in 1996 in the United States. At the time of his birth, he was reportedly the runt of a litter of five puppies. From the beginning, it was clear that Benzi was different from the rest of his brothers and sisters. He was a nervous, skittish dog who lacked confidence.Benji’s owner Lisa Moses couldn’t resist this shy little pup and purchased him from a breeder in upstate New York. After taking Benji home, Moses began training him to be a therapy dog for disabled veterans at Bethpage State Park in Long Island, New York.Over time, Benji was able to relate to the veterans on many levels through independent living and activities like riding bikes and kayaking. He would even play music for them as they did their exercises! The therapy dogs programme gave Benji so much confidence as well as a new purpose in life. This phased out his old shyness and brought out his confident nature that people noticed from the start!
