What kind of dog is Scrapy?
Scrapy is a British Cocker Spaniel (sometimes referred to as a British Cocker, Cocker Spaniel mix?). He was the winner of the UK’s National Scrapbooking competition. This dog is famous for being the most photographed dog in Great Britain. With his puppy-dog face, Scrapy is perhaps one of the best-loved dogs in Britain!Scrapy was found on his owner’s doorstep as a stray, and was then taken in by her best friend. At that time, the Cocker Spaniel mix had no name, so he was called ‘The Dog’. Being photographed was natural to Scrapy – just like it’s natural for him to follow his owner around all day (never has a moment’s peace!). In fact, it soon became clear that this happy and active dog loved to be in the limelight…Scrapy loved being hugged or picked up. He would stay close to his owner for long periods of time. Scrapy was also very charismatic and people would come running when they saw him approaching, just because he made them so happy!Scrapy often slept next to his owner on the sofa. He was always there for her if she needed someone to cuddle. If someone had insulted Scrapy’s owner or anything about him, he would never let anyone forget it… Always following everyone around until they acknowledged he was definitely there!Scrapy was an extremely patient dog – even when waiting in lines he would sit down without getting bored! He never got too excited if something new happened in front of him – even if it was something interesting or scaryonly when there were presents at the end did he start skipping:)Scrapy loved going out and meeting people – wherever they were and whoever they were withEveryone loved him in their own special way:)Scrapy followed his owner around all day long whether she wanted it or notHe would be there every second until she came back home – as if expecting her any second now!:) You couldn’t imagine anyone cancelling plans with Scrapy in advanceBecause once he started ‘a-huntin”, you literally couldn’t say no to him! (Even maybe even children). There were incidents where Scrapy chased other dogs for 10km and wouldn’t give up until he got what he wanted:) We think this made them realise what a special
