Regional District of North Okanagan:
Dog control services are provided through the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) in the City of Vernon, District of Coldstream, Village of Lumby, Electoral Areas B and C and that part of Electoral Area D in the Lumby and District Fire Protection Area.

Township of Spallumcheen:
Dog and large animal control services are provided through the Township of Spallumcheen.

City of Salmon Arm:
Dog control services are provided through the City of Salmon Arm.

Columbia-Shuswap Regional District:
Dog control services are provided through the Columbia-Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) within the Ranchero area and within all of Electoral Area ‘C’ (Blind Bay, Eagle Bay and Sorrento). Dangerous dog control service is provided in Electoral Area ‘F’.

  • A license is required for any dog over the age of 4 months residing within Ranchero or Electoral Area C.

Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen:
Dog Control Services are provided through the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) in all areas of the RDOS except Electoral Area H (Rural Princeton).

Thompson-Nicola Regional District:
Dangerous Dog Control Service is provided through the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) for Electoral Areas I, M, N, and P.
